Our Mission
The mission of Westborough TV, Inc. is to serve its customers by encouraging and facilitating their fullest participation in the production and distribution of quality television programming by and for the Westborough Community in an open forum.
The customers of Westborough TV, Inc. are all Westborough residents, non-profit organizations and government bodies.
Westborough TV, Inc in Westborough, MA is looking for an enthusiastic, creative person to work with our residents as the Studio Manager of our PEG Access Facility. The Studio Manager will be assisting producers with studio and field production, editing, lighting, and most of all motivating our producers to continue to create new shows.
FULL TIME – SALARY RANGE: $30,000.00 to $35,000.00 with benefits
The Studio Manager’s responsibilities:
- Maintain the Studio, and Field Equipment.
- Program the Public Access and Education Channel
(Working knowledge for theTightrope playback system a plus) - Update electronic bulletin board
- Train existing and new public access producers.
- Work with producers in the studio and on field productions
- Produce and edit WTV productions
- Maintain video tape library
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Broadcasting/Communication, media or related field
or 3 years experience working at a PEG Access Facility. - Proficient editing on Final Cut Pro preferred
- Experience working with non-profit and community-based organizations.
- Strong organizational skills, and positive energy a must
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
